wat a guy a legend...........any hair cut ten bob........as long as it was short back and sides........any 1 remember him

I remember everyone at school talking about him with dread... but I never went...

I used to go to Ted Spencer's off Meadow Street instead.

That bugger nicked me ear with the dubber's plenty of times...

Oh for the days when you'd happily hold a tissue to a bleeding ear without even thinking of 'getting a claim in'.

i remember erics the barbers in beech hill my dad went there for his short back and sides there was also a ladies hairdressers as well in the same building i think it was his wife. after the hairdressers closed it was a shoe shop.

Oh yes, I remember my Dad taking me to mad Eric's for the dreaded short back and sides, then a bag of mixed toffee from westheads next door but one, But, does anyone remember old Paul Carter's barber's on Woodhouse lane, I used to get the dreaded short back and sides there aswell.

I had my hair cut at mad Erics once a month for about 10 years.I always had a number 4,and for only 37p.
He once sliced my ear and it bled quite a lot,"i still have the scar."
