How Did You choose your Nickname?

Started by: empress (9667)

How did you choose a nickname for this forum ,if you use one?
There are some fantastic names in here.
Mine is Empress from when I once joined an msn community, msn gave me the name empress, so I have kept on using variations of it since.

My nickname is made up from my first name (Anthony) and the Trip at the end because, I'm taking a trip around the Internet.
"I made up the nickname many years ago and it stuck."

On the old Wigan message boards, I used the name "dave" but, someone else came on using the same name. I then decided to copyright it.

Mine is a shortened version of another name I use sometimes, arrowhead, which is a reference to my love of the game of darts

Daikler is wigganese for dataller who were employed day to day in the mines many many years ago, both my grandfathers were datallers or day talliers.

My Mum nicknamed me 'aussiepom' after I recently obtained my British citizenship (thanks to my Mum being a Wigan girl) and my first name is Sally but everyone calls me Sal.
