Any1 Having trouble with Virgin Media??

Started by: wiganer516 (5590)

I recently have had a series of problems with both my internet and television supplied by virgin media, on 1 occassion i called there tech help for my tv service to be fixed and i was on hold for 1 hour and ended up being transfered to 8 different departments including call centres in india who either had trouble understanding me or i had trouble understanding them. another occassion my internet packed up again i called 11 times i rang in the space of 40 minutes twice i was told i dont have an account with virgin, and 6 times i was on hold and then i was disconnected. eventually i was informed there was a problem in my area.

Any1 else had problems since virgin took over telewest??

I rang Virgin media up about all the special offers they seem to be handing out, I told them I had telephone, broadband, and television off them and was paying £46 pound a month for the privilege, while new customers were being quoted £10 less, so I was considering going over to Sky, well I wont tell you anything else but I will no longer be going to Sky!!!

I told Virgin media I could no longer afford their services and was going back to Telewest. I had my bill reduced almost by half and then given some very good deals. I think their call centre in India a joke, I only wanted to pay a bill but he couldn`t understand.

Telewest was taken over by NTL(NTHell), who sold out to Virgin. I've sent the letter provided by "Watchdog" BBC. They've been on the phone twice to try a bit of persuasion, but we're standing fast. It may be interesting to see the result!
If they don't come up with owt satisfactory............I'm gone-->
