can you believe this....the average expense allowance for your very own town hall pinkies is around £10.000 per anum.their anual pay check aint far short of blairs pay check???is that the reason for these attrocious rate rises each year.

Billy,your local councilor gets close to £12,000 per year,also a free computer,free paper,free shreddar, free phone,free maintainance,free meals when at the town hall,free travel to the town hall,or car allowance,free parking,cabinet members get £17,000 per year,the leader of the council gets over £30,000.Some of them will be off to different conferences this year a week at the south coast all expenses paid,and some will be off to the twin town ANGERS for a long weekend.Not to mention the Mayoral ball and all the other do's that go on at the town hall or Haigh hall. So you see one and all what your council tax funds just for the scrounging councillors.

the house seems to be falling down around us.we are seen in todays society as the milk cows???there to be milked and abused, not to mention fined for this or that council rule??bin out on the wrond day, fined??

Surely you don't wish to deny these hard working people their right of appropiate remuneration? If you really feel aggrieved put yourself up for the next election of town councillors and if successful it would be interesting to see if you would forgo any or all the lurks and perks available. Here in our local legalistive assembly we have one politician who gives up some her privileges and donates them to worthy causes,very unique as many who promise to do likewise finish up tripping on their own principles once they have gained office.
Angers- I always thought was what happened to the voters after an unpopular political decision.
