Well why are yoo asking me to post it, I posted this story on an earlier topic, yoo post it, yoo have brought up the subject, yoo know what the reason is.

And Y we are at it Basil, doo yoo remember that storm in 1973 that night, in which a bolt of lighting bloo off the top corner of the Railway pub, just near to where this road, which won't be getting built, and which will not be there.

so why are they seeking approval for an improvement, if it's not going to happen?

Because it keeps the council Johnny's in a job, money for nothing, they plan a new road, do all the research on it, the costings, it can cost the council up to £100,000 to plan a new road, and then they submit it to the council planning dept, who rubber stamp it, and then they ask the government directly, or via TFGM, AGMA or whoever to fund the project, and they say no, so the council then plan another development, another road or whatever, and go through the same procedure and get the same result, the same answer {{{NO}}}
