In the 1950s my uncle had an old coach from the first word war,He bought it from the Barton Brothers, He used to go round Billinge & Garswood selling hardware and most of the domestic equipment, he also sold parafin witch was in great demand, I can,t remember the make of the coach but it had solid tyers & it had been in France during the war He gave it to a musium but i dont know whitch one,The older people of Billingge & Garswood may remember it , I had on the front (HERE HE COMES) & on the back(THERE HE GOES<) The locals called him the Parafin mon. His son still lives in Birchley.
