MND is Motor Neurone Disease.

It is MND that is afflicting Rob Burrow. Mike Gregory, the Wigan coach, passed away from a form of MND.

Rugby League legends canoed along the canal from Leeds to Wigan recently to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, inspired by Rob Burrow who’s fighting the disease and in memory of Mike Gregory.

Row4Rob finished yesterday with a 2 mile race down Wigan Flight which featured on BBC North West Tonight:
