Digital Multimeter woes

Started by: ena malcup (4151)

Started having problems with my meter.

Last digit continuously incrementing. Reading eventually showing a value that is not credible.

Will change battery, but it has not in the past behaved like this when battery low.

Did not find others describing such a problem when did online search.

Maybe it is just knackered, but thought I would ask if anyone knows why it would do this. I have already bought a replacement.

I have heard of this sort of thin happening before, so I would advise yoo to check your giggle pin, that which should be attached to the laughing shaft

Sounds like a dirty or faulty terminal.
