TOM, I ASKED THE SAME QUESTION WHEN I WENT TO A MEETING, A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO, ABOUT THE FUTURE OF THE HALL AND PLANTATIONS. I ALSO ASKED ABOUT A BUS SERVICE TO HAIGH HALL . THEY? SAID THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE WEIGHT LIMIT ON THE CANAL BRIDGE .NOT AN INSURMOUNTABLE PROBLEM? IF WIGAN COUNCIL DIDN'T WANT TO RUN THE TRACTOR I'M SURE SOME ENTERPRISING PERSON WOULD TAKE IT UP. WHAT AN EXCITING RIDE FOR TODAY'S KIDS. JUST LIKE IT WAS BACK IN THE DAY. ELECTRIC TRACTOR. RUNNING IT FROM MAY TO OCTOBER PROBABLY TWICE AN HOUR. TWO CARRIAGES, PROBABLY 20-30 ADULTS AND KIDS A TRIP. "TUPPENCE PER PERSON PER TRIP OR PER PART OF PER TRIP"
