Tudor House - Under Threat

It seems that the row of houses and the Tudor House Pub are under threat of demolition, well the Tudor House is the only thing worth saving there, because the rear of those houses in Frog Lane have always been an eyesore, and they give a very shoddy impression of Wigan to visitors arriving in Wigan via the bus station, they are embarrassing, and the rear of the properties on Market Street, also in view of the bus station, are scruffy.

I know Wiganworlders bemoaned the state of those buildings years ago, TTS, but wouldn’t they be impressive if renovated. (If it’s not too late.)

Yoo must have good eyesight if yoo can see the rear of the houses on Frog Lane from the bus station! I thought yoo was a taxi driver

the funny thing is..........

If they get torn down some people will complain
If they get redeveloped into something, (housing retail leisure, regardless) someone will complain
If they get left as they are someone will complain
Fact is no matter what happens to them someone WILL complain.

AND at the end of it all and when something has been done with them someone will STILL complain and say the council have done the wrong thing and are bent, incompetent, are vandals, don't listen to the people and all the other usual comments etc etc etc.
