New Apple iPad Air 264

Started by: Anne (4384)

Approx one and half hours ago I opened a new Apple iPad Air as my old one had given up the ghost charging wise. What a trial this is beginning to be, I thought it would be to as the old one was, IT’S NOT. OK some things almost the same but it’s going to take several days to sort out before I can be at ease using it.

Yes Anne, I find the new tackle challenging, I'm only just getting used to Wins 10 and now they are badgering us to have the new wins 11, The yung un's pick it up in their stride, To be honest, there should be a restriction on who they sell technology to , I was walking through Wigan yesterday and these 2 people in front, One was shouting down a mobile phone to the caller and repeatedly saying " hey, what, I can't tell what you say" then give it to the person she was with and asked, " Ask him what he wants, he knows i'm deaf"

I thought to myself, 'oh god please don't let me become like those'

Anne,
Ditto.
I us my old iPad as an e-reader (its heavy!) and my wife uses the new iPad Air, as her new web browser.
Takes some adjustment, but it keeps the grey cells ticking.

sonlyme ....True to a certain extent but only to a certain extent. I had my old one for ten years, no wonder the charging port wore out. To have it repaired would have cost almost as much as this one. Still, got to keep up or be left behind.

Tom.....you may remember I tried W10 for video but didn’t get along with it for video software. Went back to W7 for that but use a W10 laptop for anything needing security.
