Murder?
One of my lads works in Leigh and one of his workmates found a dead body on her walk to work this morning.
At the side of the canal, behind Aldi (St.Helens Road bridge area). She saw a load of blood and money scattered about, then the body. Lyin' theer, deeud, reet!
She's off work now, traumatised!
It's not safe, that Leigh!

According to the paper (MEN) the body was in the canal.

money scattered about ?? in Leyth ?? were all the scallies asleep, I dropped a 50p coin in Platt waz and it never reached the floor before some bugger ran off with it,

They recovered a body from the Leeds Liverpool canal yesterday,near King Street Leigh..and have arrested a man for the murder..is it the same one Tonks?

I went past yesterday morning, loads of police on the bridge, they closed the towpath and had an incident tent there. A WPC confirmed someone was dead but didn't mention murder.

Kenee,according to Wigan today's news they've arrested a 31 year old man on suspicion of murder.

Three further males, aged 16, 17 and 18, have been arrested on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody for questioning."

It could be the old 'joint enterprise' thing, in that only one of them is the killer, but they were all there, so they all get done for it.
