The judges have seen sense, she can't return to the UK.

She made her bed so let her lie in it. Why should she come back to the UK and be kept by us even if it is in prison There was a word called "Treason" which she has committed by joining ISIS so she should never be allowed back.

I must admit that I am surprised by this ruling, I expected that she would be allowed to return.

If we had still been in the EU and under the jurisdiction of the European Court of Human Rights, would that have made a difference to this ruling ?

To those who think that she should have been let back in and given another chance, because of her young age when she took off to Syria.

Well for me I think what did it, was that when the BBC first found her in that refugee camp, she uttered and showed not one ounce of remorse for what she had done, not only did she not say she was sorry, you could tell that she wasn't sorry, she didn't give a damn, so as the old story says to girls who marry a wrong un, against all advice, and when it goes wrong, it is a matter of ......

"You've Made Your Bed, So Now You Can Lie In It"

BITCH !!!

I'm glad that the justice system has seen sense and not allowed this traitor back in, when they decided to leave in 2015they thought they were clever with the attitude "we'll show 'em" and they really did show us what sort of people we have in our country living amongst us.

I am over the moon utterly jubilant she has been told to get lost now all we need is for all the other scrounging aliens to be dealt with in the same way. Especially those who are in that army camp down Kent way i am sick of hearing about complaining about the facilities ,well if they don't like it just bugger off back from where they came ... G.B.

If they'd let her back even a stay in prison, she would have been getting hate mail etc, then that would set the terrorism off all over again..in the bigger picture this was the best ruling..she was sewing explosives into terrorists vests over there know full well that some innocent people and children would die a horrible death...no ..let her stew in it.

If we had still been in the EU, I reckon this ruling would have been over turned. i

Me too, the EU would have said via the European Court of Justice (ECJ) / European Court of Human Rights, (ECHR) would have over turned it.

One of the reasons why I voted for Brexit was so they couldn't control our laws.

It's proving to be beneficial to our country already by keeping this woman where she craved to be. We can do without traitors like her. Her education here was completely wasted. She wished to follow the barbaric Isis way of life that kills and maims and takes women back to abuse and subjugation, so let her live with it.

jathbee I hope you still believe its beneficial voting for Brexit when your working 7 days a week 12 hours a day with no paid holidays or over time ???... But it was the right decision in this case and next time A person may think about the consequences ? To their actions!! And like Peter P I do think it should be look at like it's "Treason"

Peter. Our way of life has already been eroded by the very dictatorial EU.
The original idea of a common market was in my opinion a good one for trade. But it's grown into a beast ever more hungry for power over us and many other countries.
Only time will tell if we live to regret the decision made by the majority of the electorate in this country.

Just call me Dave Cameron misread the mood of the country and gave us a referendum. Unfortunately for him it didn't go the way he wished it had and quickly disappeared.

I disagree with you all.
I think the government are being hypocritical in her case.
It was said, back then, "there are thought to be approximately 1,500 British subjects, 850 in Syria, supporting ISIL. They will be brought back and will face prosecution.
In not allowing her to come back ho ... h .... h ..... (I can't say it!) HERE, they are acting against international law and UK law in that anyone who is British from birth cannot be deprived of their citizenship if they would be left stateless. (section 40(4) of the British Nationality Act 1981.)
Having Bangladeshi parents meanthat she could claim Bangladeshi citizenship, but only if Bangladesh would accept her.
In this case, they have refused.

She should be brought here and prosecuted, along with the rest of 'em (who are British subjects)!

A summary execution would be a more appropriate way of dealing with these types.

Momac, I'd bet everything I've got that Isis aren't relying on getting Shamima Bigun back into the UK.
She'll mean nothing to that organisation.
They'll have lots of representatives already here.

When you look at her case, she's not really done much wrong. She's not a spy. She's not an enemy soldier. She's not an organiser, nor an Isis or Isil player in any form.

They hunted Mark Lilley down, arrested him in Spain and brought him back to Britain to face re-trial and serve a life sentence.
