SCOTLAND

Just who does this Ms Sturgeon think she is ? Her latest instruction now is to fly the E.U. above the Scottish Flag at the expense of teh UNION FLAG . She also says that the union jack will only fly on selected days ie holidays /bank holiday's etc . Why then can't the ENGLISH parliament STOP WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT ALL MONEY FROM WHITEHALL , in other words tell her to fund her ,FREE PRESCRIPTION'S /UNIVERSITY FEES /AND A WHOLE LOT OF OTHER FREEBIES SCOTLAND GETS. I personally have no problems with the scottish people just HER . if she truly wants SCOTLAND TO RULE THEMSELVES SO BE IT ,, BUT STOP ALL MONIES GOING NORTH OF THE BORDER . THEN LETS SEE HOW SHE MANAGES HER ECONOMY THEN . I THINK ITS AN INSULT TO THE REST OF THE UNITED KINGDOM ...

I sympathise with your comments, I too am sick of her trying to run Scotland as though it is already independent, and the merciless way she is using the covid pandemic to openly 'compete' with the UK Government, instead of working with the UK Government to defeat the virus.

So personally I think that if in the Scottish Parliamentary elections in May the SNP win by a landslide, then I think that they should be given another referendum on the independence ishoo, and if they vote for independence, then good luck to them and bugger off, and the money that England now gives to Scotland, can be spent on the rest or remaining part of the UK instead.

Scotland has turned into a selfish nation since Alex Salmond then Sturgeon took over. I was up there about 3yrs ago and never saw 1 union flag, one town, might have been Dumfries, the main shopping street was full of Scottish flags and nearly every bank was either Clydesdale or RBS
Me son was up in Edinburgh for a stag weekend a few year ago, the 6 nations rugby was on at the time, he noticed that all the flags were on display apart from England's, he asked the barman where's England's flag, the answer, "if we put it up it wouldn't last 5 minutes, they'd rip it down and tear it to pieces".
The sooner they get independence the better.

Scotland has it's own legislation and runs it's own system. It could be argued that it IS already independent.

They should sod off. And take THEIR royal family with 'em! And they can take that Lorraine Kelly with 'em too. And her voice!

So who is their royal family ?
