He's been very privileged to be allowed to have his family with him in hospital when other people didn't get the chance to say goodbye to their elderly parents or family members when they died.

It's just been on the news that a family of someone who was dying of Covid had a call from the hospital inviting them to go and say their goodbyes. It's all very sad. RIP Captain Sir Tom
