Lets take a quick peek eh Tom

So apart from me being slagged off we have got......
Baz
Ray
The government
Liza Nandy
Binmen
The council
.......and that's just the ones I can be bothered looking at!

Its all he can do, the man cant help himself! Needs some `help` if you ask me

Definitely a `not reet` and someone to be avoided if you ask me......but still, if he is nice to you and a few others, I suppose that's all that matters

apart from Ray and arguably Baz and bin men, Mac has always defended the work men of the council, Its the pen pushing desk jockeys who spend time on computers playing ,humpty back and talking on forums, as well you know, that he finds fair game for slagging off, the remained of that list is understandable . Anyway Mac left this site because of the nonsense typed by some of the one of the list, You did not type your own So he asked me to type this to you to digest, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Can someone explain to the turdle that it's 'None so blind'.

It's from the Bible quote, "Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not."

"There are none so blind as those who will not see. The most deluded people are those who choose to ignore what they already know. The proverb has been traced back in English to 1546 (John Heywood), and resembles the Biblical verse quoted (above). In 1738, it was used by Jonathan Swift in his 'Polite Conversation,' and is first attested in the United States in the 1713 'Works of Thomas Chalkley'..."

I think, sd, that was just one of many reasons he got skimmed off, I know he couldn't handle Darren so he got him skimmed off as well.

Hello Peepers.

Hello Peepers.
I think it may be you who has trouble with your basic maths.
There were indeed three entrances to the Swan, one of which is no longer in use. There was one on White Street, one on Ormskirk Road and one at the back of the building.

true, sd, along with all the other nasty comments he came out with, certainly reminds you of someone else on here.

the back door was an emergency exit, NOT an entrance, then he couldn't remember how many staff were on and how many were in the pub.

Reminds me of Dr Shipman Baz. Lots of people thought he was the salt of the earth and sang out his praises but behind it all.......... well...... we don’t need to go there eh?

The back door serves the purpose of being both entrance and exit.
There is an area out side of the back door which serves as a beer garden, with both tables and benches for the use of the patrons of the pub.
People enter and leave by this door, so it is an entrance. Also serves as a smoking area.

I can also confirm that the White Swan has indeed got a third entrance, as Jathbee says it leads out to a beer garden.

Does that look like a fire exit?

A fire exit which contains a porch and ornamental lamps?

That entrance looks like it was built to be the main entrance, never mind a fire exit.

Another view

the original entrance door on white street has been blocked off since it was done up, if you, any of your cronies or your man had been in you would have known that

Baaaaz. Both myself and my late husband were patrons of the Swan for many years. I know exactly when the changes took place and the white street entrance was no longer in use. Never the less there were three entrances.

I used to go into the White Swan but that was many years ago, and it was before it was done up, there was the front door on to the main road near to the traffic lights, and the side door on White Street, and we used both entrances, which both led to the same big room, I was aware of that other entrance, and it led into just a paved area in those days, but I never saw that entrance from inside of that main room, but looking at it now, was the White Swan built as a hotel, and that entrance in question led to a reception area ?
