Has anyone changed over to this. "Getting paid on eBAY has changed"?

I know someone who has. They get paid around 2 days later by eBay directly into their bank account.

It used to go through pay pal.Now it's e bay although still the same company

sneaky buggers, to do that, they need your bank details, the more information they have, the more they know about you and the easier it is to get more from you,

aye i noticed something fishy too. I use wifes ebay to Sell only, never buy so Ebay don't need banks details 4 this account. I pay ebay all fees from sales proceeds in paypal balance. Now - they won't let me pay fees from paypal balance unless i tell em her bank details that they don't need. I reckon reason is - if you don't log onto paypal for (is it) 6 months? they will now charge u. If no balance in paypal they can simply elp emselfs from your bank. sneaky as hell

I think eBay are cutting ties with PayPal so this is why it's happening. You are slightly better off when you sell an item but it takes you longer to get payments.

Thanks to all for the info, I understand that it only affects selling, if so I will just use Ebay for buying.
