It is with great sadness that I heard that Harold passed away last Saturday.
His daughter Jill asked me to let his Wigan World friends know.
Although not a contributor in recent times, through health reasons, Wigan World will be poorer for his passing.
RIP Harold Whittle.

I met Aitch just once a number of years ago, and I found him to be one of the kindest person I ever met.

So sorry to hear this sad news, and my condolences to his family.

I remember Aitch . Although I didn't know him personally , judging by the posts here, he was a good man. RIP.
