I think we can all now write the script for this one can't we?

I think it will be ok, another micky mouse lock down, workers to still work, skools to still open but with some sort of restriction on stopping movement of unessential travel

Let them start with the rich and famous who flout the rules

That wont happen Peter, I think they might start locking park gates again like they did before, Like at the 3 sisters, Haigh Hall, Rivington etc,

Talk is that schools will close and the lock-down will be similar to the one we had last March.

Leaving home
You must not leave, or be outside of your home except where necessary. You may leave the home to:

shop for basic necessities, for you or a vulnerable person
go to work, or provide voluntary or charitable services, if you cannot reasonably do so from home

exercise with your household (or support bubble) or one other person, this should be limited to once per day, and you should not travel outside your local area.

meet your support bubble or childcare bubble where necessary, but only if you are legally permitted to form one

seek medical assistance or avoid injury, illness or risk of harm (including domestic abuse)

attend education or childcare - for those eligible

If you do leave home for a permitted reason, you should always stay local in the village, town, or part of the city where you live. You may leave your local area for a legally permitted reason, such as for work.

If you are clinically extremely vulnerable you should only go out for medical appointments, exercise or if it is essential. You should not attend work

Meeting others
You cannot leave your home to meet socially with anyone you do not live with or are not in a support bubble with (if you are legally permitted to form one).

You may exercise on your own, with one other person, or with your household or support bubble.

You should not meet other people you do not live with, or have formed a support bubble with, unless for a permitted reason.

Stay 2 metres apart from anyone not in your household.

another micky mouse lockdown, march lockdown had 4 reasons for going out,
1. shopping for essentials
2 medical appointments or medicines
3. to work
4, to exercise

Are restrictions more severe than March?
We know that the UK is going to threat level 5, the highest level, which means there is a danger of the NHS being overwhelmed within 21 days.

When the prime minister announced these threat levels in May he was clear that during the first lockdown the country had only been in level four.

At the time he also said: “The higher the level, the tougher and stricter we will have to be.”

So on that basis should we have expected tighter restrictions in England than we saw during the first lockdown in March?

If anything, the restrictions appear slightly less severe. For example, support bubbles and childcare bubbles exist this time. Also, outdoor playgrounds will be open when they were closed last time.

Communal worship is still allowed as long as social distancing is observed.

One significant change since March is that face coverings are compulsory in indoor public settings such as shops, public transport or places of worship.

I can live with these new restrictions. Ive kind of got used to the previous ones.
I was expecting a lot worse. So this is a bonus.
As long as people realise that they don't have to panic buy food, toilet roll etc then everything can be managed.
