New year's Eve

What you all doing then.?

Doing my hair and makeup, putting a posh frock on and going to the lounge for cocktails and canapes.

Going to have A beer and wait for the wizz bangs at midnight

I'll have a melancholy drink to say goodbye to Europe and pray that we've heard the last of Brexit.
An impossible dream

I have already had one phone call from someone who is going to bed early. I enjoy New Year normally but this year will certainly be different.

I would be queuing up to get in the West ward now, back in the day, oh happy days.

The fireworks here have been going off since 5 o'clock

same here Frank, I can't get me yed round setting light to a £20 and watching it go BOOM,,

I'm just going to go to bed with my kindle, if awake at midnight I shall wish everyone a happy new year, if not then the good wishes will be said in the morning. In the meantime a Very Happy and hopefully better New year everyone

Why do fireworks have to be so loud? They are like bombs going off and spoiling the ambience of my evening.
