Having just read a snippet about ( the deal) I am disgusted to learn that under the fishing rules if we (UK) break the eu's interpretation of the laws the E.U. can turn off our GAS & ELECTRIC supplies OR impose heavy tarriffs on the UK ! Then surely this is not a good deal as the nutter BORIS is claiming? It leads me to wonder when we can get hold of a copy of this """ good deal"" Just what else will we be punished for ??

Or that Britain will continue to fund the European Defence Agency via Horizon 2020 as well as NATO, we're bound to the ECHR and to UN bodies, so the EU has jurisdiction over our foreign laws, the UK government is restricted in taxes it sets outside the threshold of the EU, the UK is still aligned to the European Arrest Warrant.............

That is not how it is going to work, because we get our gas from a variety of sources, and if one source stopped, another one would take its place, and then there is the subject of Fracking, if the UK starts to Frack on a commercial scale, then we will be self-sufficient in our gas supplies.

Electric wise we don't need the EU at all, because we import very little electricity from them, and if the supply was cut, then that would affect the Irish supply, because we and the EU export electricity to the Irish Republic, through the UK electricity transmission system.
