Mine are, in order of watching:

1. Ghost
2. Titanic (with Kate Winslet)
3. The Colour Purple
4. The Green Mile

No 3 was the one that had me really breaking my heart. It was Whoopi Goldberg's first film and the story was the saddest I've ever seen.

I've yet to hear Bette Midler singing 'Beaches' song Wind beneath my Wings without the tears starting..it was a beautiful film..sad but beautiful.

What makes me cry is when you watch a film, and it has a crap ending, and if yoo had known, you wouldn't have watched it

The question should be what films do you think have a good ending

The closing scene on Shirley Valentine when Joe goes to Greece and joins Shirley at the edge of the sea and they share a glass of wine. Always tugs at my heart strings.
