Major Incident ....

.... at the M6 / M61 junction. A couple of dozen cars are involved, apparently. Accident due to snow!

No Tom. It was snowing AND it wasn't at junction 31.

It was on the M6 northbound which involved 17 vehicles.

It was j29A to j31. There were 20 vehicles involved. Started by an Audi driver not driving according to road conditions,and rear ending a focus ST.

The one I referred to, was on the M61 sliproad, just before it joins with the M6, under the bridge.
There was another incident, beyond J31.

Some drivers once they get behind the wheel think only about themselves and they think they are invincable.Non of these type of drivers ever drive to the road conditions

Major Misunderstanding!

Firefox is not a recovery driver. He does drive round though, up and down the M6, M62, M61 and a bit of the M58. He's an officer for the Highways Agency. He's lnown to a relative of mine who's in the Police. He's often at the control centre, near Haydock Island, drinking tea and eating toast with this mon! I think it's he who tells the recovery drivers what to recover.
