Whatever 'deal' they've agreed to will only be a basic outline. There's too much involved to come to any agreement in one go. It will all take time.

The value of the Pound will have to remain low in order to keep any trade going with the EU and the rest of the World. That doesn't suit me.

I'd like to be able to just 'go' when I want to, without having to apply for a 90 day visa.
I am registered as a taxpayer in Spain with an NIE number. But, if there's no reciprocal agreement regarding healthcare, I'll have to pay €70 a month to cover myself should I end up needing any treatment while I'm there.

Residency is the solution I think. Just checked and our exchange rate is as high as it has been for a while.

Tonker

" Put a GB sticker on the back of your vehicle if it's registered in the UK, even if your number plate already shows GB with a Euro symbol

You could get a fine if you do not have a GB sticker when you need one

I've got two cars over in Spain, both have GB stickers on them, so I can't be done for that.
However, both cars have been over there for several years and you're only allowed six months. Neither have an MoT.

The smoke signals tell me that the Mossos will be targeting UK plated cars post-brexit.

If the political "p-------" had left the Common Market as it was, which was a simple trade agreement, then none of this rigmarole would have been necessary!
