Favourite hymn/carol

I've always loved Silent Night which has been recorded by loads of great singers.
But I've just heard a version by Johnny Cash for the first time and it's brilliant

We were listening a Christmas Carol CD last night and it took me back to walking day rather than Christmas. We used to leave Abram schoolyard with the brass band playing “ The Church is one Foundation” I have never forgotten that.

Sorry to digress. Little Donkey used to be my favourite.

I love in the bleak midwinter and have played it in church on guitar.

It's a bit long to listen to it all but you may like to see the way they did the carol service this year behind closed doors at Holy Trinity Church at Downall Green because of the lockdown, they uploaded at a given time yesterday so all the congregation could sing along with him as if in the church --Here--
