Got to feel sorry for the young people (most of them that is). They are missing out on a lot of growing up fun

The young ones have plenty of time to catch up. I have lost a year of my life travel wise. In the next few years the travel insurance guys will price my travel out of reach.

28th December 2019, I went out for an evening meal with family. Not been to a pub or restaurant since in the evening and only once for lunch during the summer.

Last time we had a pub night out was Friday 13th March just before the first lockdown. Saw what was coming and as we have an elderly relative living with us with health issues, decided to batten down the hatches. We managed to get a night out for a milestone birthday of mine in September at a local restaurant with immediate family, 6 + grandchild, spead out over 3 tables. Not been out since. It's not pleasant and we'll have to write this year off. It WILL come good again.

Thank goodness the chippy is still doing its bit to boost morale.
The aroma is even better queuing outside.
Well done you fryers
