Before lockdown I went in pubs and felt safe went for a meal felt safe, my wife and I have been in hairdressers felt safe all due to proper tracking and tracing. Been into several betting shops, no track and trace half of the clientel not waring masks and not caring about bumping into you and yet these have been told they can open in tier 3! Apart from allowing students to have free reign this must be the worst decision by a truly inept government and also proves all this talk about following the science is nonsense!

I thought we would have been in tier 2.

Infection rates in Wigan Borough are the fifth highest in Greater Manchester at approx 317 per 100,000. far too high to be in tier 2. Maybe the Mount will be open for Christmas but don't bank on it

So if you live in Ashton you can drink and eat in Haydock what is Merseyside or you can go to Golborne what is Cheshire ..... this is a disaster waiting to happen for drink drivers

peter the guidelines are do not travel out of your own area. Many will, as pubs etc are open in Liverpool. Photo I.D. should be asked for and entry refused if they are from a tier 3 area. It's the only way to get out of this.

Maybe so, but they are still too high. Some areas are dropping, but others are still going up. Wigan Mapped

Pems down again, fence it off, open the pubs, and sod the rest.

I bet “Walshy’s lads” save a fortune during lockdowns when he can’t be scrounging drinks off them all the time.
