Buzzards
At one time you would have had to go to Scotland or Mid Wales to see Buzzards. Now we have them flying around the Three Sisters and around the flashes. Two years ago there were two ,last year three and this year we have seen five. lets hope we have more next year

Buzzards Peregrines and Ravens all breeding around Wigan now, all birds you would have needed to travel about Sixty miles to see when I started birdwatching in mid Sixties.

Absolutely beautiful creatures Rio, and magnificent flyers using huge wings to soar on thermals.
They fly quite high up over our house, but within seconds they are out of sight.

Mucked out with buzzards in Billinge... Especially around scouts Wood... Marvellous sight.

There are lots in the fields and woods behind my home.

theres a couple been flying round the golf club WGC for a few years massive wingspan
