There's a couple of presenters on telly right now. They are answering questions sent in (supposedly) by viewers.

Today, I was working in Hindley, so I called at Tesco's for a butty and a drink.
At the door is handwash and a big notice. 'All Customers Please Wear Facemask'. Many were, indeed, wearing facemasks. However, none of the staff were. And neither was I.
Rules for one, rules for all !

I wenty in Asda earlier, an employee asked me to wear a mask. She didn't have one on. I didn't put anything over my mouth.

We shop at Horwich Tesco on Tuesday afternoon.
This week apart from one irresponsible couple in their early twenties and some of the staff every body was wearing masks, most pleasing.
We sanitise our trolley handle, then our hands, jobs a good ‘un.

Tonker, we are all in this together, you might be a fit person with 8ollics of steel but, you could pass it on to a friend, customer, relation who does not have your strength or resilience to it, be responsible, get one of them visors like I did,

I agree, I went for a bike ride with mine on and, it kept taking off like a kite,

I’ll continue to wear a mask in every indoor situation.
I’m a great believer in doing something rather than nothing.
We do our big shop at Tescos Tuesday afternoon and get some milk on Satyrday a quick 2 minute visit, that’s our only contact with folk.
We walk every afternoon, come home, pull up the drawbridge, have some tea and stay in all night.
We had a trip to Wigan town centre on Wednesday, I wore a mask, but we didn’t go in any shops, just walked the streets.

Well, what you are doing, there, is reducing your own body's immunity. When everybody has reduced their own body's immunity, by sanitising everything and wearing face-masks, they'll all 'catch' whatever is going round, and there'll be another outbreak.

I’m going to be the bigger person here.
There does seem to be some validity in Firefox’s post about ear and eye infection.
I got a little heated in my opposition to his and Tonker’s opinions, and may have used some rude words, it was never my intention to upset.
To firefox and Tonker I apologise unreservedly for my response to their posts.
There are many things out there causing deaths, flu and cancer etc, and Coronavirus at the moment is NOT the biggest killer, but it IS gaining ground and needs to be checked.
I will continue my rather strict regime of isolation and protection and hope firefox and Tonker will follow suit (I doubt they will!!!! LOL).

What you need to do now Ray is ignore any screen names and instead make a mental note of the things Reditus ( and his alter egos) like to say, particularly when it comes to contentious issues. Also the way he says it, the style of his comments and replies, his habits ie: the never ending memes, the individuals he associates with, his approach to certain others etc etc....Then look for similar patterns in the other forums you participate in.

Ray, good to see you getting some support and sympathy over on WP and that names are being noted. It strikes me as a huge shame why the person concerned cannot always take the same friendly, helpful affable approach in this forum as he does over there and instead chooses to use this forum to target people.

I refuse to become embroiled in the affairs of another forum and out of respect for the members of WP I am not going to name names directly. However there are members of WP who are well aware of the multiple identities and past activities of certain members, perhaps they may choose to come clean and perhaps then the unsuspecting members may start asking questions and realise they are being manipulated and led up the garden path by an individual who is not all he makes out to be and underneath the nice guy façade delights in harassing soft targets.

Focus on the points I made and watch out for clues. Look for what is said, both in the content and nature, pay attention to replies and how they are worded and delivered. The topics raised, the amount of pictures, memes and links etc. Its a busy place but some are far more active than others which will help. I am sure you and maybe a few others over there will soon work it out. You could always try asking the `who are you question` in there but I doubt there will be courage enough to see any hands going up, unless they choose to do a sparticus

The problem is not the forum itself Ray, just certain participants of the forum, many would agree with me. although few are prepared to stand up and be counted alongside me. The main protagonists of all this have been removed in the past for behaving unreasonably but they just let the heat die down and re-join using different details, or revert to a dormant back up identity prepared in the past, sometimes years in the past. Long time members with low post counts who suddenly appear may be genuine, but equally may not be. They also swap log in details and passwords. The person you are talking to today under a certain screen name may not be the same person using the same name tomorrow and it is all a game to them. They think they are convincing people but they are only convincing some. The names may change but identities, characters, motives and agendas don't. Some can spot them, some cant, some spot them and say nothing. However the majority are totally oblivious to it all.

I said earlier this place has an underside and that you are associating with some very toxic, twisted manipulative and deluded individuals who carry agendas and delight in conduct of this nature. I assume you are now in a position to agree with me. The proof is now there for all to see, both by members of this forum and others.

The way I see it Ray you have been antagonised, humiliated baited and provoked with the sole intention of pushing you to your limit by individuals who believe (and continually attempt to convince others) that' their behaviour is perfectly reasonable and justified and in actual fact it is you that is the root cause of the problem, not them. And now furthermore and sadly, as a result of your reaction to this campaign of harassment it is you that is being vilified. Believe me, you are far from being the first to be subjected to this ordeal. It is an appalling and abhorrent way to treat anyone. least of all someone of your character, particularly as you have recognised what you see as a shortfall in your behaviour and attempted to make amends while others steadfastly refuse to, or even acknowledge your gesture.

I have been the subject of abuse, personal attack, harassment, I have been harangued and insulted, nobody should have to undergo that.
My crime was a fraction of what those people I accuse have done.
I have sent an e-mail to WW admin Brian and Ron last night asking them to take action against firefox, Reditus, TerryW and Tonker (ticsmon), up to now no response but they are busy people running this site, so I wait in anticipation.
I have also apologised to Brian and Ron. for my out of character posting.

I know exactly how you feel, and what you are going through, everytime I come on here I get attacked, personal/nasty comments aimed at me and even had my card marked, all for having an opinion and not giving in to bullies
