As an 86 year old, I have sympathy for Megan, she is of mixed race and that does not go down well with the British upper classes. As a youngster, I was slightly racist, but going into the armed forces changed my attitude completely, as going around the world I met people of all colours and creeds. A lot of people my age are still very racist, they have never mixed with coloured persons and have no intentions of doing so.

Megan refers constantly to THE FIRM. Indeed it is just that. Aside from the royal family, it is run as business.
The royals have a duty to perform within that business.
The higher up the FIRM the more responsibilities and perks are involved.
I know it's far more complicated than that.
Being in the limelight is part and parcel of being within THE FIRM.
The royal family is, in effect, public property. The press have been less than kind to all of the royals at one time or another. Some of it well deserved.
Now Harry and Megan chose to resign from the firm, they were not sacked, on the grounds of wanting privacy and opted to leave the UK, they were not forced into exile.
How on earth can you resign your job and expect to still have all the privileges of still being employed.
If they felt that they had grievances, which they certainly did, they should have voiced them here for all the press and people to hear, not slope off and slag Harry's family off in her country.
We all know that the press here, as in other countries can be cruel and unrelenting.
That's the way I see it anyway.

And there was also a concerted effort to make fools of the people of this country by going through with a very expensive, public wedding, when they had already sloped off and done it in private. Sad and pathetic I'm opinion.

what we do known is that all the royals don't comment
