Potatoes

Anyone growing them at the minute? Ours have taken a battering in the downpours but they are alright. Can't wait to harvest them after they flower, nothing tastes better than home grown, me Toms are doing well too.

Not potatoes Terry but I planted 150 bulbs in March & only two beautiful flowers just appeared this week & they've been battered

Just been out tying some of my plants up and covering some too, looks like we are in for another storm soon.

I planted some but not sure if they’ll do much, loads of greenery but I don’t think I had enough compost, and couldn’t get any more due to hubby being ill,but here’s hoping.????

1st earlys "charlotte" now in full flower and I am hoping for some nice potatoes after the wind battered them a few weeks ago. Planted main crop" pentland crown" last week and leaf heads just coming through the soil. Never grown these potatoes before so I hope for a good harvest.

Just ready for flowering my earlies PeterP, here's hoping for a good crop.

Your Pentlands should give you a good crop, good all rounders they are.
