I remember the clock well it was an unusual clock your uncle told me some history about it coming from a big Stately Home, if it's the same one this clock had two big moons on it's face a rising & waning he asked if I knew what they are for ?(do you)he told me the first time the clock would be set to the full waning moon and would never need setting again if it didn't stop, then both moons would rotated at the same-time to show the moonlight to expect in the coming days if going out, no street lights in them days

why on here, did you ever see the big full scale working modal of the steam train he built from scratch that he could sit on going round a track, your uncle was a wizzz with steam locos

In the 40s, I vaguely remember a model steam train in a garden in Downall Green Rd, it was an elevated track and passengers sat on the carriage with their legs dangling over each side of the track. Please put me right on this one Dougie.
