Wigan Cadets helped out at this carnival for quite a few years and in 1998 our band had played in the procession as well, here they are with "Les Battersby" the Celebrity guest. E.T.

I can't believe how long my hair is on the photo... I think this was taken about 2 weeks before I joined the RAF... Everyone looks so young. It's hard to believe this was 11 years ago.

Off the 8 Wigan girl cadets on this photo' 2 became Commissioned officers in Wigan ATC, 2 became regular officers in the RAF and 1 is an Adult Sergent Instructor in Wigan ATC. E.T.
