I was sent to guard this plane twice.It was a Hawker Tempest Mk,V, on route from RAF Germany to England when the pilot force-landed at this disused airfield known as Calais/Marck on the Dunkirk road. A young French lad asked if he could take photo's and I said, "Yes if you will take some of me." So he did! Then,myself at 18 and a better one from the top of Calais lighthouse.

Interesting shots them Eric. There is not much left of Calais is there.
