Not sure if this photo is army or home guard. My Granddad Jack Critchley is sitting first on the left. The photo was taken at Valette Studio Bank Hey St in Blackpool September 1942. Granddad would have been 41 years old.
Wonderful picture, a family treasure for sure. I have a question, "does the back reveal any names of the gents in the photo?" My Grandfather Arthur Blundell was in the Home Guard in Liverpool, we do not have a decent picture of him, if the names of the gents are on the back, would you please let me know one way or the other. Many thanks for any help with this inquiry.
