What a lovely, photo of a vanished world and what lovely happy smiles. I think people were content with a lot less in those days and it shows in their faces.

It looks like one of those very hot summers that the older generation were always talking about! The kind were the sun used to crack the flags! Life was much simpler then, long working hours, it must have been a blessing to get out into the open Countryside.
Lovely photo this of the late 30s, and happy memories for their families.
