It was 1969 I think. Jeff Hurst was coach, back row Colin Bannister, Joe Halsall, Frank Gaskell, Mick Connor, Tony McGuinness, Bernard Coyle, John McDermott, Tony Byrne. Front row, Ste McNally, Ian Jeffries, Gary O’Brien, Tony Woodhouse, Martin McLoughlin, Allan Armstrong, John Eccles.
Beltin team.
Not sure who turned pro apart from Ian ‘Chip’ Jeffries, Frank and Martin either did or were close.
Colin and Ste no longer with us, RIP lads.

Fond memories of the day we won the Lancashire Cup. A lot of the lads in that team went to St John Fisher and we had 5 years of success.
