John McDermott, i remember him from my schooldays, was he the headmaster at St Patrick's in the early to mid 50s? although i didn't go there i remember him refereeing schoolboy rugby matches i played in.

John McDermott was headmaster of Saint Patrick's for about thirty years. A real character.

Is that Father Naughton on the right of the picture who used to be at St Williams in Ince. A lovely man.
