Not a comment, but a question. Do girls play Rugby in English schools now? My Granddaughter played for her High School team, and was selected for the region in a Provincial tournament.

I like the line that says "Saloon leaves Wigan" We used to travel on a saloon when we were kids. But now everyone refers to travelling on a coach.. Why and when did it change?

You're right, Gerry.
If you were organising a trip or a night out, you didn't book a coach, you got a saloon or a chara up.

I used to work for Alf as one of his Pharmacists, Mick, and he preferred that his 'shop' was always referred to as a 'Pharmacy' - in fact, he insisted!
