Hi Goef, Is this about the time that Barry Ashton & the Baybutt Bros, were riding for Hindley Club?

I was a member of the L.G.T.R.C from about 1968 for a few years. We raced the first scooters. If you didn't fall off you won a trophy. I rode with John Cummings and Barry Pearson the rest I cant remember.The Baybutt brothers came to our farm in Hindley Green to try out a track we had made
My father and I rode solos at Wrightington in the mid 60s and then tried a sidecar which we liked so much that we went sand racing where you could have a good flat-out blind.
My dad is Barry Pearson, he passed away in March 2008. when he passed i was the one to sort out his belongings in doing so i stumbled across many items that relate to his time grass tracking. I still have the tropheys and until recently my brother had his bike.
