Looking at the bottle labels, It looks like they might have been supping Greenalls. If they were, they should have been ashamed of 'emselves.

The chap in the centre is the Wigan Club chairman at that time, Mr. H.S. (Bert) Webster. He owned a demolition/reclamation company based in Tram Street, Platt Bridge
