Hello Frank, Good to hear fom you. Have you now joined the ranks of the retired? By coincidence I was looking at a photograph of Sacred Heart soccer team that you submitted and recognised your brother John and John Hogarth. Were the clogs mentioned "sparking clogs".
Are you still living in the Brocket area? pop in sometime and I'll buy you a pint.

Carl

Hi Carl. I retire in 10 weeks time; roll on the end of June. Still live near the Brocket(Holme Terrace); been TT for about 20 yrs so I'm a boring you know what. "Sparking Clogs" revives a few memories.

Front first left is John Davies. Front third left is the late Roy Lythgoe, who had a spell Down Under with Newcastle. Front extreme right is the late Billy Stephenson, who ran the Post Office at Haigh for many years.

What memories! I'm fifth left on back row next to Carl Armstrong whose funeral I attended today. Also there was Bob Mather who is on the back row second from the end( right) and John Robinson( front row

Back Row first left is Gordon Anderton who founded the team that played on Hackney Marshes in the 60's and was the lead in establishing Rugby League in the South.

Forgot to mention that I was in the Hackney team that lost to you and I assume Gordon A was in your pic possibly because he was the ref for the game. He was in our team pic as well.
