More Wigan Welsh players again from 1938 and once more "working" on the ground, this time cutting the grass (looks as if it might take some time).
Left to right, Jack Bowen, Ike Jones, Harry? Banfield (he'd left Wigan the previous season and now played for Leigh but was visiting his Welsh pals), Jim Sullivan (the "incomparable", Jim had played baseball for Wales and at one point considered being a professional golfer), Percy Moxey (killed in a bomber crash in 1942) Gwyn Williams (brother of the famous Bleddwyn Williams, Gwyn served in the Welsh Guards in the war, was shot through the head but survived).
