I used to work behind the bar when John was pesident, it was the best club I ever worked at everyone was so friendly, it wasnt like work old lady called Polly worked there as well she was 80yrs old or more but her mind was as keen as anybodies half her age,Bill Humphries was the Steward, John Sharrat used to collect the glasses, he was also about 80yrs old,the treasurer was a man named Jimmy, Iwould like to see half the younger ones of today work as hard as these three, these people taught me a lot and they were some of the happiest days ive known hope somebody somewhere has some more photos of this club its a shame it should ever be forgot,
