My Great uncle who was a noted “catch as catch can” wrestler who on occasion wrestled at Springfield Park in the 1920s.
My father William Parker Foster was from Wigan, as a child he lived on beech hill, his Parents were James & Maggie and when wrestling was on the tv in the 70's he used to say catchas catch can, i know he had relations in Wigan, Jack & Ginny Foster, but that's all i know, maybe Jim might be a distant relation. ?
