Wigan Album

This photo would have been taken about 1920 in Gathurst. It shows from the left, my mother Agnes Bryson aged about 12, her older brother Tom standing next to her & on the end her younger brother George. My grandparents, Thomas & Mary Bryson came to Wigan from Hamilton in Lanarkshire. They lived in Gathurst Lane & then later in St Clements Rd, Wigan. They lived in Wigan for the rest of their lives. The connection with Wigan was the coal mining industry.
