This is a letter received by the family of George Myers after his passing, It sheds a little light on to his role as vice President of the Church. Unfortunately I cannot read the signature.

How sad that he didn't live very long after the war..he couldn't have been very old - if it is the George who served in Burma.

Could the signature be "W. Darbyshire" ?

Many thanks for identifying the name. This is referring to George senior. His son George served in Burma during WW2 and returned safely home from his adventures to work at the coop.
