Mary is the lady sat on the chair, she was more commonly known as Polly Twiss. She married Edmund Twiss in 1902. The lady directly behind her is my Gt G/mother Margaret Carter.

Were they connected to the Twiss Transport Cafe on Warrington Road.

I have never found any link Cyril, but never looked too closely at that side of the family so could well be a link.
