Herbert Cotterills now that's a name to cunger with. The Haydock site is now the home of Tesco. Cotterills was a very big company which made equipment mainly for the NCB.
I presume you mean conjure Garry ? we'll let you off this time, lol, not the easiest word to spell. It definately is hard to conjure for me, i didn't know a company of that name existed and i worked in a toolroom sometimes machining hydraulic valve blocks for Gullick Dobson.
hi blob herbert cotterills was part of the gullicks group .h c started of as lyndons in the old loco sheds at haydock over 100 welders and machine operators in its heyday closed in 1985/6
