He doesn't look too happy. Nice photo.
He looks a reet smart young gent!
His suit is a forerunner of the traditional Double Breasted one! Off later to promenade in Mesnes Park, no doubt!

He looks well cared for ...he could be wearing a school uniform of say Wigan Grammar School. The clothes don't look like an ordinary suit to me. I don't know if the book is of any significance. We will never know!
